Ingredients 材料
seasonal vegetables  季節の野菜
lotus レンコン
burdock牛蒡(ごぼう)
peel the skin of garlic  ニンニクの皮をむく
cut into half  半分に切る
remove the core芯を取る
boil-in-the-bag Bagna Cauda レトルトのバーニャカウダ・ソース
mash anchovies and the garlic アンチョビとニンニクをすりつぶす
add milk and olive oil牛乳とオリーブオイルを加える
simmer for 10- 20min. 10分から20分間くらい煮る
on a low heat   弱火で
boil  茹でる
pot 鍋
container  容器
serve in a small bowl  小さなボールに盛る
rich and creamy sauce こってりとしたとろみのあるソース
yummy 美味しい (子供のよく使う表現)



Ingredients   

(for 3-4 people)
Dip sauce:
Olive oil 100cc
Anchovy (drain from oil) 30g
Garlic (large) 4pcs (about 30g)
Milk 50cc
Water 200cc

(*You could also add* butter 2g or cream 40cc)

Seasonal vegetables
(eg. Pumpkin, potatoes, bamboo, baby corn, asparagus, lotus (Renkon), burdock(Gobou), paprika, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli)


Steps:
1. Remove garlic skin, cut into halves and remove tcore. Cook for about 20 minutes on low heat soften garlic.
2. Mash anchovies and garlic until soft like “paste”.
3. Add milk and olive oil to ②, Simmer for 10- 20min.on ow heat until smooth.

(Sauce should be about 100-130cc after simmering.)

*You could also add butter and cream.

4. Boil all vegetables until soft.


5. If you have a pot or container to keep dip sauce warm, put
with vegetables on table. If not, serve in a small bowl with vegetables.

*If you prefer a rich and creamy sauce, you can add some flour and beat with water and simmer.
